Several parents have spoken to Daryl regarding Oceans 16. With Christmas fast approaching, can anyone who is considering going, please confirm your intentions via email to Daryl at firstname.lastname@example.org by this Friday, as we need to discuss criteria and abilities, so we can make arrangements for accommodation, flights and transport. We are once again staying at the Omanu Surf Life Saving Club.
SWIMMINGSwimming remains on offer on Wednesday nights at the Graham Condon Pool:- 7.00 - 7.45pm for beginners and the younger ones, and 7.45 - 8.30pm for faster ones and seniors. Swimming is on for the next 2 Wednesdays (9th and 16th December), but after that, look at our facebook page for updates, as our coach is busy over Christmas.
PATROL TEAMS - LIFEGUARDINGWe have a challenge on for our PATROL TEAMS. Each patrol needs to take one serious photo of your patrol and another photo of your patrol team doing something crazy. Let your imaginations run wild. I know the patrol that did this on Saturday came up with something pretty cool. This is going to be judged by Chris in January and the winning Patrol Team will all be getting a yummy lunch on their next patrol. The serious pictures can be put up on the Patrol Covers facebook page and save the crazy ones until we need them.
UNIFORMIf you need uniform, please contact Kaylene Hamilton on her cell phone by text. Alternatively, she is usually at the Graham Condon pool on Wednesdays. Ph: 0274298050 (please text and she will reply asap).

TRAVEL FUNDRAISING GROUPWe are endeavouring to set up a Travel Fundraising group this year to help our teams/competitors who need to travel to attend competitions. This will cover all teams including the Juniors, Seniors, IRB Team, and Canoe Team of all ages.
The idea is to set up fundraising opportunities and those that take part in these activities will directly benefit from any profit. Some of the ideas so far are, BBQ's at Clubhouse during Club Days, car wash, selling on the beach and a quiz night.
If anyone is interested in being involved with this group we will be holding a meeting at5.30pm Friday 11th December at the Club, by then we hope to have more definite information on some of these ideas.
If you have any questions prior to this meeting please contact either:
